About
Hi, I’m Tamar (she/her). I’m a heart-forward, interdisciplinary creative director and designer. As a leader and educator, I’m dedicated to creating supportive, equitable, and collaborative work environments where people can create, learn, grow, and thrive.
I’ve worked with many high-profile brands both in-house and as a consultant. I also enjoy working with solopreneurs and small businesses to help elevate their brand presence for all touchpoints.
I help brands communicate and engage with the public in an authentic, clear, and compelling way. Recently, I’ve focused on collaborations with activists, organizers, and change agents. Recently I joined UAW International Communications. I’m proud to use my expertise in support of labor rights.
RECOGNITION
My work has won multiple design awards from Promax/BDA, AIGA, Creativity Awards, and more.
I teach at Parsons School of Design in NYC. The New School News wrote about a course I teach exploring the intersection of design and social justice. And recently, I was interviewed by the Parsons First Year blog about community building during the CoVid-19 pandemic.
